Cipher Europe s.r.o. based in Malacky, Slovakia is a fast growing sister company of Cipher International Limited and covers distribution of Cipher brands - Trakker Products, Aqua Products and Cygnet tackle - across the whole of continental Europe. With the major growth the company has experienced in past years, we are looking to develop our team further and as a part of this development we are currently looking for new European Sales Manager.
This role will play a key part in delivery of the future growth across continental Europe. The position is for an ambitious sales hunter that is going to drive the growth of Cipher brands across continental Europe by developing and implementing sales strategies and delivering targets, meeting expectations of both the company top management and owners.
Responsibilities:
Achieve growth and hit sales and profit targets by successfully managing the sales team across continental Europe set by top level 3 years growth strategy.
Drive field research and information gathering for continuous European growth plan.
Design and implement a strategic business plan for each main sales territory that will expand company sales and grow the customer base across continental Europe.
Continuous objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives located in France, Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Slovakia.
Build and promote strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers in each of the main territories based on a dialog and understanding of their needs.
Assistance with EU price setting and pricing reviews to hit planned profit expectations.
Present sales, profit and investment reports and realistic short and long term forecasts to the group sales director and Director of European operations.
Identify emerging market trends and sudden market shifts while being fully aware of significant new products entering market and competitors activity in each of the key territories.
Demonstrate the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
Virtual and face to face meetings with customers and colleagues.
Requirements:
Excellent people management skills.
Able to travel up to two weeks per month across Europe.
Being based in DE or NL is preferred, but not necessary.
Successful previous experience as a Sales Manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
Good analytical skills.
Strong decision-making abilities.
Demonstrate an ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
Strong business sense and commercial awareness.
English language on B2 level – both written and spoken.
3+ years B2B sales experience.
3+ years in leadership sales position.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
Active angling experience viewed as an advantage.

Base salary (dependant on experience) + performance bonus scheme + over achievement bonus element.
